Microblading is a form of permanent makeup that utilizes an angled set of needles often called a blade, rather than a more traditional permanent makeup device or a rotary pen machine. The angled blade is used to create shallow cuts in the skin where pigment is applied onto the skin, thus creating natural appearing hair strokes. It is a confidence booster and time saver for women with thin or sparse eyebrows, those who do not like the shape of their brows and who may have lost their brows due to cancer or other medical conditions.

A properly shaped, full brow can instantly make you look younger and refreshed without expensive filler or surgical procedures. However, not everyone is a candidate for microblading. People with large pores and oily skin or mature, wrinkled skin will not see the best results. There are better brow procedures for such skin types, such as powder brows, ombre brows and hair stroke brows performed with a rotary machine, that will give them beautiful and natural results.
