I think it’s fair to say we all know someone in our life who impresses us, whether in their passion for a charity, their devotion to their career or their commitment to overcoming physical barriers. Chances are they would rather not be in the limelight because they don’t see what they’re doing as extraordinary—it’s just natural.

Suburban Family couldn’t let the chance pass to recognize some of the amazing things people are doing in our communities. In our Leading Ladies feature, we’re giving a shout out to women who are making a difference all around South Jersey through simple actions that inspire and show the capabilities of the human spirit. And as the school year winds down, we’ve got a roundup of the top student athletes who are breaking records and setting the bar high in their respective sports.
