Jersey Pro Wash, Power Washing and Resoration Services, LLC
A Fresh Start: For power washing and home restoration, Jersey Pro Wash offers unmatched expertise.
It all grew out of a personal need for Christopher Evans. His house needed cleaning. After a few disappointing estimates from local cleaning companies, he began research how to do it himself. During his 16 year career managing the operations of several restaurants in South Jersey, he continued his training and education behind the science and art of his craft.
Today, his company Jersey Pro Wash, Power Washing and Resoration Services, LLC, has been Evans’ full-time job for the past eight years.
Based in Sicklerville, Jersey Pro Wash specializes in power washing and home restoration services and has been a member of the Power Washers of North America. Through the PWNA, Evans has been able to continue his passion and education on the best practices and standards for cleaning and restoration. These best practices were put into use when the group was tasked with cleaning the Jefferson and Lincoln memorials in Washington, D.C., which Evans was proud to be a part of.
“To do it correctly and professionally takes a lot more than just blasting away with water,” he says.
Evans continues utilizing the same principles used in the preservation of our nation’s most cherished monuments for Jersey Pro Wash’s clients throughout South Jersey and part of Philadelphia.
Educating the Customer
Jersey Pro Wash makes a commitment to not only provide top-notch cleaning and home restoration services, but to raise the level of professional standards in the power washing industry.
“We strive to bring professionalism into the business,” Evans says. “We make an effort to educate our customers on the latest, proper cleaning methods and procedures from an expert perspective. A lot of damage can be done unknowingly from power washing by people who don’t know what they’re doing, versus someone that’s been trained.”
Pricing is based on the specifics of the job: the property in question and the specific cleaning or repair necessary to accomplish the task. Though the average recommended frequency is every two to four years, cleaning schedules are determined by the unique characteristics of the environment. For instance, shady or wooded areas are often susceptible to mold spores and require more frequent washings.
“Our goal is to make sure our customers understand the value being provided. The point we’re always trying to make is they understand exactly what we’re going to do for them and exactly how we’ll do it,” Evans says.
Evans explains that everyone has a home or business that eventually needs to be cleaned and has built his company on ensuring expectations are clear and met, if not exceeded.
Largely built on a word-of-mouth base, his customers include everyone from home and business owners to the Cherry Hill Public School System, where his team partnered with another power washing company to clean 12 schools, and the Haddonfield Historical Society, in which they cleaned up Kings Highway storefronts and sidewalks, bringing new life to the area.
Economic and Environmental Concerns
Jersey Pro Wash works “to be as green as possible,” says Evans. Only biodegradable, environmentally safe cleaning products are used. All of our equipment is brand new, state-of-the-art, energy efficient machinery, he says.
Evans describes the modern power wash as more of a “soft wash,” using biodegradable soap solutions to eliminate mold, mildew, dirt and debris. Stubborn blemishes are carefully brushed away. Very rarely is the actual strength and pressure from the machine used for cleaning. Evans warns that using the improper use of cleaning products could not only be damaging to the property but could have long-term effects on the environment. Improper use of machinery could lead to immediate damaging effects on property or surrounding plant life.
Evans urges all property owners to be aware and interested in the kinds of products or procedures used for cleaning. At a minimum, poor cleaning methods will result in the return of mold, mildew and dirt within a year, appearing as black streaks and stains. Jersey Pro Wash not only makes the effort to properly clean a house or business the first time, but also ensures that its appearance is preserved for years to come.
Full Spectrum Cleaning and Restoration
Beyond their take on cleaning, Jersey Pro Wash also functions as the umbrella of an expansive network of home repairers, including carpenters, painters, electricians and interior specialists. One of his most recent partners specializes in superior tub and tile refinishing, adding to the wide array of professional home experts that Jersey Pro Wash currently utilizes, Evans says.
From consultation and eco-conscious cleaning to full repair and restoration, Jersey Pro Wash continues to diligently serve South Jersey and parts of Philadelphia.
