“Dancing is a feeling expressed from the inside out.” This is a quote from one of Kim Farmer’s favorite choreographers, Mia Michaels. Kim is all heart and her passion for dance is in her blood. Her mother, Nancy Mulford opened the doors to their dance studio 68 years ago. Nancy, who sadly passed away in August of 2019, started a legacy of the love of dance! Kim, now owner of Mulford Dance Studio, calls her dancers “family!”
She loves the beauty of ballet, the soul of jazz and percussion of tap. She feels teaching should be a passion not just a profession. She attributes much of her success to her amazing staff. Extremely talented, hard working, and dedicated to their students are just a few words she uses to describe the instructors at the studio.
On a personal level, Kim is most proud of her family and her three sons who have grown into wonderful young men.
