Academic Excellence
Neumann University is well known for its exceptional programs in Nursing and Health Sciences. A multi-million-dollar Health Sciences Center accommodates classes in nursing, physical therapy, athletic training, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology, and other programs.

The state-of-the-art Data Analytics Lab supports majors in Cybersecurity and Data Science & Analytics. Students in Communication and Digital Media major can use high-tech radio and television studios from their first semester on campus.

Neumann’s Arts and Sciences, Business, Criminal Justice, Education and Sport Management faculty bring unparalleled experience to the classroom. And that’s just a sampling of the academic expertise you’ll find at Neumann.

Internships in Every Major
Neumann is a recognized leader in combining classroom theory with practical experience and requires every student completes at least one internship. Many students complete more than one. Professional internships and field experiences support the development of students’ skills, talents, and help them build a professional network.

Athletics
Neumann boasts 23 NCAA Division III athletic teams that compete in the Atlantic East Conference, the Eastern College Athletic Conference, and the United Collegiate Hockey Conference.  Facilities include the 72,000-square-foot Mirenda Center, the Bruder Athletic Baseball and Softball Fields, a university turf field, and the Ethel Sergeant Clark Smith Memorial Tennis Courts. At Neumann, however, sports are about more than modern facilities. Neumann is wholly focused on the development of the person. At Neumann, there is an ecosystem of support that includes academic coaches who are deeply invested in students’ academic success. There is also a very intentional focus on mental health and overall health and well-being.

Community Service
In line with Neumann’s Catholic Franciscan heritage, students engage in service-learning as part of their Core courses. Beyond this Core commitment, different opportunities to serve are always available through service-learning courses, volunteer work, and advocacy. All service experiences are grounded in Neumann’s RISES values (Reverence, Integrity, Service, Excellence, and Stewardship).

Career Preparation
The Career and Personal Development Office offers comprehensive career preparation resources, including résumé and cover letter assistance. Services are delivered via one-on-one appointments, drop-in hours, classroom presentations, events, and collaboration with offices on campus. A career management platform is provided to every student for job and internship postings, an employer network, and event announcements.

Location
Neumann’s scenic 133-acre campus sits high on a hill in suburban Aston, Pennsylvania, just a 25-minute drive from Philadelphia. New York City, Washington, DC, and the Jersey shore are just two hours away, providing abundant opportunities for entertainment, sports, internships, and jobs.

Residence Halls
Every suite in our residence halls is cable-TV ready and includes a private bathroom, air conditioning, and Wi-Fi. We offer computer labs, a cardio-weight room, 24/7 security and free laundry rooms.

We invite you to take a tour, sit in on a class, and ask our students why they’re happy here. Visit www.neumann.edu/visit to arrange a tour.

Neumann’s strong tradition of learning and compassion allows students to balance liberal arts, professional preparation, and community service in a college experience that is designed to ensure that you can Discover the NU You.
