A Summer to Remember
Paul VI offers a plethora of quality summer camp options to keep students engaged and mentally focused.

by Kathleen Stewart, Director of Admissions

With summer on the horizon and a successful school year almost complete, Paul VI turns its attention to its summer camp lineup. With exciting programs designed for middle school and high school students alike, the camps featured here are some of the best ways to turn lazy summer days into rich and energizing experiences!

Best camp for hinting that you summered abroad: The Paul VI French Immersion Course
The two-week class features an introduction to the French language, complete with greetings, courtesies and conversational skills. You’ll listen to French music and watch films entirely in French to prepare you for that “someday” trip to Paris!

Best camp for kicking those family vacation videos up a notch: The Paul VI Video Production Camp
This week-long course utilizes our state-of-the-art TV studio. Students will learn the basics of camera work, story boarding and editing to develop and film their own videos. Don’t just SEE the blockbuster—BE the blockbuster!

Best way to eliminate the stress of shopping for school supplies: Come to Paul VI for high school
The school’s tech-rich environment uses iPads in place of textbooks and notebooks, and as communicators and project creators. Incoming freshmen can take the iPad Camp to enhance technology skills, receive tactile instruction on the device, and learn mini-lessons in English, math, science and social studies. Leave the ream of looseleaf and the subject binders behind!

Best camps for crushing the lip-sync contest at your swim club: The Paul VI Drama and Dance Camps
This two-week drama camp uses acting games, exercises, improv and scene work, while the week-long dance camp enables dancers to increase progress, improve technique, as well as learn and explore choreography. Take both, and you’ll be 2/3 on your way to being a triple threat!

Best camp for delegating your chores to someone—or something—else: The Paul VI Robotics Camp
Rising 7th and 8th grade students will build and program EV3 Mindstorm Robots and participate in individual and team challenges during this two-week course. Pair it with the two-week Coding Camp, and you may just have found a tech-savvy way to dominate the family chore chart!

Best way to ace your “What I Did this Summer” essay: The Paul VI Science Camp
Students entering 6th, 7th or 8th grade will be able to claim that they built a self-propelled car, used solar energy to cook, and extracted DNA from a piece of fruit. It’s the week-long camp that gives you the best essay topics ever!
