Rider University
Your goals are within reach.

by Staff

A plan is just a starting point. Whether you know exactly what you want to do or are still figuring it out, Rider University in Lawrenceville, New Jersey, provides the support you need to follow your drive and the freedom to explore your options.

Students are at the heart of everything that happens at Rider. Rider’s student-centered commitment begins with its engaged professors whose focus is on teaching and mentoring students. That commitment is shared by the entire university community, where every member is available to support students and their goals. It's a unique environment dedicated to giving students the self-confidence, skills and strong foundation essential for professional and personal success.

Rider's Engaged Learning Program allows you to combine your academics, career goals and activities to reflect your personality and interests. In fact, every Rider student gains valuable hands-on experience by completing at least two high-impact Engaged Learning experiences—such as internships, co-ops, study abroad and guided research—prior to graduation.

Through the Center for Career Development and Success, you’ll work with a dedicated career coach to explore your interests, identify your academic path, secure impressive hands-on experience and develop job-search skills that ensure you’re prepared to succeed.

The Rider community is confident that a degree from its university will prepare its students for future success. That’s why, it guarantees that graduates who fulfill the requirements of Rider’s Cranberry Investment program will gain an entry-level position or acceptance into a graduate or professional program in their field of study within six months of graduation or Rider will provide career coaching and may recommend either nine additional credits of undergraduate coursework in your field of study at no cost or a paid six-month internship.

What distinguishes Rider from other universities is the sum of the many experiences we offer you—in and out of the classroom—from your first day on campus to graduation and beyond. The proof is in its graduates who go on to become CEOs, game designers, scientists, TV broadcasters, accountants, special education teachers and more. Rider welcomes you to come find your footing with the school and become part of its network of 60,000-plus alumni around the world.
