Village Eyecare
Village Eyecare strives to give patients the “wow” treatment at every visit.

by Staff

Dr. Sally Halim
Dr. Sally Halim is the owner and optometrist of Village Eyecare in Woolwich Township, a business she will have owned for 10 years in August. She has a bachelor’s degree in biology from Rutgers University and a bachelors of science in optical science from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry, as well as a doctorate of optometry from the same school. Village Eyecare is a full-service primary care optometric practice, prescribing both glasses and contacts. Dr. Halim also treats/manages ocular infections and emergencies, and co-manages ocular surgeries like LASIK, cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery and various retinal surgeries with local ophthalmologists.

Village Eyecare strives to give patients the “wow” treatment at every visit, from their first interactions with staff to choosing glasses and checking out. “There was such a growing need for primary eyecare in the Swedesboro/Woolwich area that I knew I wanted to open an office in this area. I also wanted a practice that would give patients the type of examination that I wanted to have. It means a lot to me to put my name on something that I believe in,” says Dr. Halim. “Our patients are the most important part of our practice! We treat them like family and put their eye care needs above all else.”
