Joyce Kaveney, Speech Language Pathologist
Kaveney calls the decision to open her own practice “one of the best adventures” she’s ever gone on. “I began my practice at the request of families I had previously worked with. So after circumstances in life had closed one door I opened an even better one with the encouragement from the families and the support from my own family I took the leap,” she says.
With a bachelors in communication disorders and masters of science in speech language pathology, Kaveney is trained in PROMPT, SOS Feeding and Interventions for Auditory Processing Disorders. Her practice, Speak to Me Kids, is a pediatric speech, language and feeding therapy provider with locations in Marlton and Collingswood. Both insurance and private pay is accepted.
The difference at STMK is the focus on children. “We ensure that our therapy is individualized to each child and we will do all that is needed to ensure your child feels comfortable the minute they walk in our door,” Kaveney says. “Our team of therapists are friendly, accommodating and highly skilled. We offer free consultations for families to come in, meet with a speech language pathologist and go over all of their concerns before therapy even begins.”
