Opened in January, the community of Cambridge is introducing a whole new level of enhanced senior living and rehabilitation care to the tri-county area. A member of the distinguished Marquis Health Services family, Cambridge offers a comprehensive continuum of care, from assisted living and skilled rehabilitation to skilled nursing and memory care.
Not only are the aging-in-place options optimal for senior living, Cambridge’s setting is simply stunning. Nestled on 12 acres in the historic and award-winning town of Moorestown, the campus of Breidenhart Castle provides a one-of-a-kind locale where residents can enjoy independence, social activities and 24-hour care.
Assisted Living
As a person begins to need assistance with daily activities, the enhanced senior living setting provides a helping hand with personal care or medications while the resident maintains the highest level of independence. Cambridge’s engaging community promotes socialization opportunities, stimulating activities and made-to-order dining experiences with the added comfort and peace of mind that an emergency call system with on-site nurse response is there whenever needed.
In assisted living, Cambridge offers large one bedroom and spacious studio accommodations that are beautifully appointed with a kitchenette, living room area, private bathroom and scenic views, while some include a balcony. Three daily meals, regular housekeeping, cable TV, use of laundry facilities, maintenance, utilities and recreational activities are all included in the monthly fee, leaving residents little to worry about aside from how they’d like to spend their time each day.
Amenities include life enrichment programming, restaurant-style dining experiences, fitness and wellness programs, scheduled transportation, excursions to cultural sites, beauty and barber shops, and transportation to local medical appointments.
Memory Care
The Memory Care neighborhood at Cambridge is all-inclusive. For those who need a higher level of care, this area offers memory activities to support the delay of further dementia, security and additional monitoring by specially trained professionals who are educated in dementia care.
Residents in Memory Care enjoy full access to the Cambridge community and its amenities, while living in apartments complete with a kitchenette, living area and private bath.
Skilled Rehabilitation
For those in need of generalized rehabilitation following a hospitalization or elective procedures, Cambridge fosters patients’ safe return home and minimizes hospital readmissions with daily therapy sessions using the latest technology and advanced treatment modalities.
The subacute rehabilitation program includes physical, occupational and speech therapy up to seven days a week, an expert team of therapists and consulting specialists all working with your individualized plan of care. Clinical expertise addresses cardiopulmonary, wound, restorative and palliative/hospice care, as well as IV therapy and nutritional services among others.
With the goal of optimal healing and a return home for its patients, Cambridge helps them feel as comfortable as possible in well-appointed suites and enjoyment of the campus, programming, activities and amenities.
Respite Stay
Much of the responsibility of caring for aging loved ones falls on family members. Often, the adult children are balancing the challenges of raising their own children, working full-time and taking care of mom and dad. A respite stay at Cambridge is an opportunity for temporary relief. Mom and dad can get a taste of life at Cambridge while their child takes a well-deserved break. This option is also available for those who would like to sample what it’s like being a resident of Cambridge.
The Cambridge campus is open for new admissions in assisted living, skilled rehabilitation and memory care.
