Prepare for and explore the joys of parenthood with a day of pre- and post-pregnancy seminars, fitness demos for the whole family, giveaways and activities for kids. The annual expo has become known as a hotspot for expecting and new families, and never disappoints.

Nov. 10: Dining for a Cause
Dive into some of the best food and drinks from the hottest restaurants in South Jersey with the Virtua Foundation’s Taste of Virtua. Guests 21 and over can browse a selection of food, beer and wine samples from all over the area, with all proceeds from the night benefiting Virtua patient services.

Nov. 13: Find Your Collection
New to the convention scene, New Jersey Collectors Convention brings collectors out from all over with a display of collector’s items including action figures, toys, comic books, video games, cards and more. The family-friendly event will be giving away prizes, have dealer rooms and plenty of items that will remind you of your old collections, or inspire you to start new ones.

Nov. 13: Fun for All
Open Arms at the Garden State Discovery Museum opens their museum to special needs children for a day of play, safety and acceptance. It’s a setting where kids with autism can interact in an inclusive space just for them, while parents can bond and share their experiences as a special needs family. It’s a full night that offers socialization in a safe and educational environment.

Nov. 14: Sip and Shop
Take a day to shop, sip wine and unwind with Haddonfield’s Uncorked. The normally dry town takes an afternoon off to take advantage of local wineries and all that they offer. Browse participating shops while tasting New Jersey wines and pairing bites.

Nov. 18: Bring Your Imagination
Dress up in your favorite cosplay and get lost in the sci-fi, fantasy and horror world at PhilCon 2016, featuring art shows, fantasy writers’ workshops, concerts, costume competitions and more. Along with renowned author presentations and guests, families can enjoy programming just for the kids, meaning you can really get into that family costume you’ve been dreaming up.

Nov. 23: Turkey Trot
Burn off some calories before indulging in your Thanksgiving meal at the Moorestown Turkey Trot. This un-timed 5K and one-mile race is a chance to have fun, be active and donate to the MooreKids Food Drive, which collects healthy breakfast foods to donate to their fellow classmates in Moorestown who receive free or reduced lunch. Isn’t that something to be thankful for?

Nov. 25: Festive Fun
Welcome the holiday season with Haddonfield’s Candlelight Shopping Kickoff. It kicks off with the annual Holiday Tree Lighting at Library Pointe followed by a parade, bringing Santa Claus to Kings Court. The streets of Downtown Haddonfield will be gleaming with festive lights, live entertainment, horse carriages and of course gift shops for the best holiday gifts.
