Fall is finally here, school is in session and it’s time for all the wonderful things that come with this season. That includes open houses for private schools, which are welcoming prospective parents and students in to see just what they offer for kids of all ages.
This month we wanted to take a look at the private school world, and how faith and togetherness craft a familial experience for students, parents and staff. As a lifelong public schooler, I was amazed while writing this story at just how much is offered for our young students in the private school sector.
We also dive into the 21st century college culture. As Millennials become Generation Y freshmen, how is technology really impacting the social aspect of universities and colleges? Local experts gave their advice for parents and college students looking to break out of their shell while still staying connected online.
And I couldn’t close this book without celebrating one of my favorite fall pastimes: football. South Jersey’s relationship to football and tailgating is a truly special one, and we’re lucky to have some seriously tasty tailgating grub that rivals any of the big cities. Fall will always be my favorite season, for many reasons, and I couldn’t be happier to share it with some of my favorite people, our readers.
