Celebrate Shabbat or learn about the Jewish tradition surrounded by happy faces at the Katz JCC’s Shabbat Shabang for Families. The morning kicks off with songs and storytelling, combined with crafts, games and a taste of traditional challah bread.

May 8: Love Your Mother
Celebrate Mother’s Day with a fun-filled day at the Camden Children’s Garden. All moms get on the amusement rides free during the whole day, and the whole family is welcome to walk amongst the flowers, butterflies and natural wonders the garden has to offer.

May 12: All About Alice
Meet Alice Paul, one of the world’s most influential suffragettes, right in her home. The Alice Paul Institute will tell you all about South Jersey’s historical figure, with a presentation that tells her tale and explains the mission of the nonprofit created in her former home, followed by a wine and cheese conversation afterwards.

May 14: Handcrafted
Moorestown and Collingswood’s Perkins Center for the Arts celebrates all things artisan at the 6th Annual Handcrafted at Perkins Center. Local artists, crafters, brewers and more come together to provide beer and spirit tastings, food pairings, live performances and a presentation of hand-crafted arts.

May 14: Celebrate Spring
The Woodbury Community Garden is embracing its growth with the first ever Woodbury Spring Fest. The full-day festival includes live music, games, food and craft vendors for guests to browse, all while raising money for the Greater Woodbury Cooperative Ministries.

Heed the call of the wild in style at Cedar Run Wildlife Refuge’s 15th Annual Whiskey, Wine & Wildlife event. Benefitting the nonprofit, the 21 and over event dives into whiskey, wine and craft beer tastings paired with cheeses and catered plates, all while the local residents of owls, hawks and more mix and mingle.

May 30: Red, White and Blue
