Greetings South Jersey families! I’m excited to be sharing this month’s issue with you, my first as the new editor. My face may not be familiar, but I have been a member of the Suburban Family editorial staff for more than four years, and since becoming a mother, the content has resonated even more deeply.
With an observant toddler at home, living a healthier lifestyle has become a top priority for me and my husband, and there’s nothing like warmer weather to get us in gear. This month we look at how athletes of all levels can use personal training to reach their next fitness goals. Whether you want to lift heavier, run faster or improve your skills in a particular sport—at any age—the guidance and support of a personal trainer might be the push you need.
Spring also ushers in more opportunities to spend time outdoors with our families, likely in our own backyards. Local landscaping professionals lend us their insider knowledge on this year’s top outdoor trends to make your space a relaxing escape to enjoy throughout spring and summer.
But perhaps nothing is as relaxing as a fresh pint of craft beer, and you luckily don’t have to go far to find one in this area. In this month’s Dish you’ll find a brewery near you where you can taste original and creative beers and also learn about how they were made.
I don’t know about you, but it sounds like the babysitter might be getting a few extra hours this month.
