On top of that, he teaches accounting I, II and III to all grades. Because of his constant devotion to staff and students, Bozarth was named the Shawnee 2012-13 Teacher of the Year. He was issued a certificate among staff and friends at a recent Board of Education meeting.

Russell Knight Elementary School, received the 2013 Camden County Freedom Medal for his focus on in-school service projects, including his four-year long Cathedral Kitchen Benefit. Guy worked with his students to decorate more than 400 placemats in the last year to present to the organization and help instill the spirit of giving in his students.

Through her efforts, the Washington Township Public Schools received financial literacy kits from ABCO and their affiliate, BizKid$.

Jennifer Giannattasio
Mount Laurel
Giannattasio, an art teacher at Countryside Elementary, took her creative touch outside the classroom. She teamed up with the Camden Ronald McDonald House to create new themes for their patient rooms. The Candy Land room included hand-painted murals by Giannattasio, giving the rooms a more fun and inviting atmosphere for the children.

JoAnn Fox

Fox, a math teacher with Shawnee, reached out to Lockheed Martin to sponsor a program called “Women in Engineering.” Consisting of six sophomore girls, the club works to inspire students interested in the field of engineering and help them find their niche.

Diane Canzanese
Mount Laurel
Canzanese has had a long association with the Philadelphia Museum of Art through her attendance at the museum’s summer classes for teachers and wanted to share her experience with her students. As part of their Education in Action Program, students from her class at Larchmont created a gallery on the theme of “nature through the seasons,” which was on display at the museum last month.

Kimberly Klemmick
