Family Fright Night
There will be tricks and treats for all ages at the first-ever Spring Hills “Halloween Haunted Hotel,” where families can enjoy all the chills and thrills of a haunted house, complete with a zombie bell hop, dancing spirits, dining ghosts and doomed poker players. Children will also be able to make their own candy wands before exiting through the dark and dismal courtyard filled with ominous tombstones. A Ghouling Experience

Trunk or Treat
You won’t find any tricks at Washington Township’s “Trunk or Treat” event. Halloween-themed cars will be on display, containing candy and other goodies in their trunks for kids in grades 5 and below. Contests will be held for the best costumes and the best-decorated car, with proceeds benefiting local veterans in need, just in time to honor Veteran’s Day. Fall Foliage
Take in the natural beauty of autumn as you canoe down the Rancocas Creek during the Fall Foliage Family Float Festival at Historic Smithville Park. Walk of a Lifetime
Before Mount Laurel resident Heather Saler lost her battle to lung cancer in 2008, she created the LUNGevity Foundation’s walk and fun-run to raise money and awareness for a disease that remains the leading cause of cancer deaths each year. Now pioneered by her husband, Brad, and son, Tyler, the Heather Saler Lung Cancer Walk will enter its ninth year at Cooper River Park. The family-focused walk features a 3.8-mile handicap, stroller and bike-friendly course, along with live music, prizes, face-painting and clowns for kids. Nov. 3, 9 a.m. at Cooper River Park, 1301 N.
