Jaguars Ice Hockey (pictured)
Mount Laurel
The Jaguars Bantam A ice hockey team, which consists of boys ages 13-14, won the N.J. state championship on St. Patrick's Day weekend as well as the District Championship for their division in early March.

Haddonfield Crew
Haddonfield
This crew team had a great season opener at their first regatta of the year, held in Philadelphia in mid-March. The Men's Novice 8 finished first in their heat, with the best overall time out of 18 other boats for the day. Competing for Haddonfield were Louis Epstein, Alex Siciliano, Killian Graves, Jonathan Dye, Liam Rochford, Patrick Gilmartin, Paul Hurd, Nick Gangemi and Taylor Buttaro (coxswain).

Holy Cross Girls’ Choir
Delran
The Holy Cross’ Women’s Ensemble was selected to perform at Carnegie Hall on March 4 alongside the National Youth Choir. The 15 students spent four days in New York City, where they performed under the direction of international conductor Anton Armstrong.

WTHS Girls’ Bowling
Washington Township
The girls’ high school bowling team took fourth place in the Group IV State Championships in late March. Senior Nicolette Sarin was the individual champion of the NJSIAA Tournament of Champions, earning the spot as the best female high school bowler in the state.

Moorestown High School Crew
Moorestown
The girls’ Lightweight 8 rowing team placed first in Philadelphia's inaugural Manny Flick Crew Competition on the Manayunk River in March. The team consists of high-schoolers Katie Stevens, Allie Stevens, Julie Camoratto, Casey Powell, Amy Wright, Kristen Munoz, Alex Tsao, Sarah Jaraha and Lizzie Garrison.

Team McCrae-Juliano
Mount Laurel
The fourth-grade boys’ basketball team, Team McCrae-Juliano, is the championship team for Mount Laurel's intramural league. They were undefeated during the regular season and during the playoffs, finishing the season by winning three tournaments.

Seneca Youth Football
Tabernacle
The Seneca Youth Football team recognized the desperate need to replace their 8-year-old helmets, but with new headgear costing $12,000 for 120 athletes, the boys had to get creative. Along with a variety of other charitable events, the kids organized “Haircuts for Helmets” at a local hair salon in late March, raising $900 at that one event through haircut donations and a bake sale. Thanks to several other fundraising efforts, the league is less than $3,000 shy of their goal.

Cherokee High School Wrestling

After a strong season with an 18-8 dual meet record, Cherokee High School's boys' wrestling team, led by head coach Mike Booth, finished the year by winning the Olympic American Championship in March.

Lenape High School Knowledge Bowl Team
Medford
Lenape High School's Knowledge Bowl team members took first and second place at the Burlington County Academic Tournament, facing off against 10 teams from five Burlington County schools.

Eastern High School Baseball

The Vikings baseball team kicked off the season in an impressive way—scoring 10 runs in the second inning of their first game, and crushing Cherry Hill West with a final score of 15-1.

Harrington Middle School Math Team
Mount Laurel
Harrington Middle School students have taken top honors in the county during this year's New Jersey Math League competition. The seventh- and eighth-grade teams won first place in Burlington County. Additionally, the seventh-grade team placed sixth in the state. On an individual level, one of Harrington's students placed second in the state by missing only one problem.

Cherry Hill West Mock Trial Team

These future attorneys won the recent county competition, earning the title of 2012 Camden County Mock Trial Team Champions. The team consists of Jeremy Rotblat, Tess Banecker, Wendy Cheng, Valerie Wilson, Gabby Stankecivioute, Tati Radziun, Nick Sansone, Effy Gittler, Phil Shin and Wilson Huang.
