Adinolfi & Lieberman

by Erica Bauwens
Experienced, Trusted, Professional; Adinolfi & Lieberman helps families achieve a fresh start.

From divorces to adoptions, when family is the main concern, the law firm of Adinolfi & Lieberman is there to tackle the biggest issues, especially when it seems like there might be no answer. “Having a firm that focuses on only family law allows us to bring tremendous resources and quick response times to even the most urgent situation,” says Robert Adinolfi, a founder and senior partner with Adinolfi & Lieberman. “Our clients are assured of our attention and devotion to their case.”

The firm acquired a new partnership in Ronald G. Lieberman at the start of the year, a decision that has helped establish the Haddonfield office as one of the area’s leading family law firms—as well as one of the largest in South Jersey. Bob Adinolfi and Ron Lieberman have received the designation of Certified Matrimonial Lawyers by the New Jersey Supreme Court, earned through a rigorous application and testing process.

“For both Ron Lieberman and I to have achieved this honor is a testament to our dedication to family law and confirmation of our expertise,” says Adinolfi. “This certainly benefits our clients by offering to them the highest caliber of representation.”

With a team of eight attorneys on hand, Adinolfi stresses that no client or situation goes unnoticed by the staff. The firm specializes in multiple areas, including but not limited to divorce, separation and mediation; child custody, support and visitation; domestic violence issues or restraining orders; asset distribution, as well as the unique needs of same-sex relationships and civil unions.

“Every case is closely managed by either a partner or one of our senior associates to make sure that a client receives the best representation available,” he explains. “Our team meets regularly to discuss our files and to make sure the client’s needs are being met.”

And in situations involving such a sensitive part of one’s life, dedication is a necessity that many South Jersey residents are desperately seeking. At such an emotionally driven and complicated time, a client needs the security and comfort of a staff as actively involved as Adinolfi & Lieberman.

“We understand the need to comfort our clients especially during that first visit when it seems that their entire world has been turned upside down,” says Adinolfi.

“We pride ourselves on professionalism and compassion.”

Taking the first step
When beginning a legal process with a family attorney, Adinolfi suggests that clients “do their homework” by gathering as much financial information as possible and taking the necessary steps in understanding their attorneys. “That first meeting is an opportunity for us to educate them on the law and issues that might exist in their particular case and to get to know what our firm can bring to the table.”

Preparation when meeting with an attorney for the first time varies depending on the people involved and the situation at hand, so having an educated and experienced set of attorneys available from start to finish can make all the difference.

“There are no standard questions as each situation is unique, but if there are some specifics, we encourage clients to make a list before they come in to meet,” explains Adinolfi. “Usually, by the time I finish with an explanation of the process and the law, many of the questions the client had have been answered. ... We take the necessary time to make sure that clients walk out the door feeling like they have a good understanding of the process in New Jersey and that any questions unique to their situation have been thoroughly answered.”

Adinolfi says that by looking at the firm’s website and talking with friends and colleagues that have been through the legal process, a client can determine what attorney is the best fit for them. In the end, though, he says his firm prides themselves in the hard work they do for any client looking for a fresh start in life. “What is clear to clients who choose our law firm is that we have a passion for the practice of family law. It is who we are,” he says. “Our attitude is one of dedication to our practice and our clients. We care about our clients and their outcomes. That is how we have been able to build a successful family law firm.”
