Turning to Remodeling
Signature Home Solutions is certainly not letting the recessed economy hurt business. In fact, the business’s owner is taking advantage of a trend that began to unfold shortly after the recession showed signs of deepening. That trend, fortunately enough for this Mount Laurel-based company, is in remodeling.
"Despite the weak economy, if you have a dated, inefficient kitchen and you plan on staying in your home for at least a few more years, now is an excellent time to remodel - perhaps the best in decades," says the owner. “Customers are looking to add additional rooms and upgrades to their homes as opposed to selling. We have also been doing a lot of exterior improvements and bathroom remodeling as well.”
But remodeling is not always just about maintaining your investment. "Often remodeling and renovating are emotionally motivated. The home is a very personal place and it reflects a homeowner's personality, design and way of living. Projects don’t have to cost a lot of money, but they add big value to your home,” the owner says. “In just one or two days, you can take a room from boring to breathtaking.”
Getting Started
When a client is interested in discussing a project, one of their project managers will go out to the home, access the customer’s needs and show the client a full portfolio of completed projects from satisfied customers. When applicable, a licensed architect and interior designer will work with the customer. The company works with two showrooms, where the designer and customer can meet and make selections on the materials needed for the project.
Each customer is assigned to a project manager who is the point of contact for the entire project. “We have an excellent office staff who provides customer service and support to our project managers,” explains the owner.
A quote will be prepared with everything itemized so the client has full understanding of the scope of the job. Fees for the designer and architect are always included in the cost, so the customer does not have to pay for those services separately.
The fully licensed and insured company strives to provide a superior level of detail and care into each job, combined with a system that makes each project a smooth experience for the homeowner. “Our talented craftsmen make the final product flawless. They are very careful and detailed, and make sure the end result exceeds expectations,” the owner says.
Satisfied Customers
Signature Home Solutions’ mission is to provide customers with superior quality, service and craftsmanship and to make each project with their company a seamless and enjoyable experience. “Our goal is to be your contractor of choice for any future maintenance or remodeling needs you have. We understand that the best compliment that you can pay us is a recommendation to family and friends.”
The owner says that the biggest complaint he hears from homeowners who have used other contractors is that there was a lack of communication and that the jobs were not managed properly. Every service Signature Home Solutions offers, and the way they approach each project, is designed to wow the customers, not only with great design ideas but with absolute flawlessness. “Excellent customer service is one of the most important ways to develop relationships that will be long lasting. Repeat business is what we strive for.”
