To ease the students’ annual transition from flip-flops to lace-ups, Paul VI High School has some nice upgrades waiting.
The art studio has a new buddy.
Paul VI reconfigured the ceramics room and annexed it to the main art studio. The new suite allows different mediums to work together – very “suite” indeed.
Lunch alfresco is a thing.
At least for seniors it is. The graduating class gets to take their quesadillas outdoors to enjoy the sunshine. Planters and striped umbrellas make lunchtime into a la dolce vita experience.
The parking lot is pothole free.
While that already sounds compelling, students can channel their excitement for mixing all those chemicals in a science lab. Paul VI is big on maintenance, and this project lets the wheels on your bus – or car – go round and round without incident.
Christmas came early for stage crew.
An updated sound system and new LED stage lighting that replaces the old gel lights allow Paul VI’s theater tech wizards more artistic freedom than ever. While fun for the stage crew of course, it’s also nice for those who just get to sit back and enjoy the magic.
Registrations opened Sept. 1 for Paul VI’s premier fall events.
The high school’s exceptional open house event is set for Wednesday, Nov. 6 from 6:30-9 p.m. This “pull-out-all-the-stops” event allows prospective students and families to meet faculty, staff and other students, to learn about Paul VI’s philosophy and programs, and so much more.
