Education from Generation to Generation
Future Scholars has been teaching siblings year after year – no wonder it feels like family.

by Staff

Since 2007, parents have trusted Future Scholars to care for their children in an enjoyable and educational environment with a true family feel. Future Scholars has nine classrooms, starting at 6 weeks in the infant room continuing with toddler groups, preschool, pre-K and full-day kindergarten. Also available is before and after care with busing provided to and from Hainesport Elementary School for children up to 13. Children also get to enjoy field trips to the Philadelphia Zoo, The Franklin Institute and The Funplex.

Meanwhile, the senior summer camp is for kids ages 6 to 13 and offers 22 field trips, while the junior summer camp is for kids from 3 ½-to-5 years old and includes options, field trips, tons of fun and educational in-house activities.

Jennifer Tenner and her husband Chris took over ownership of Future Scholars years ago from Chris’ parents when they retired. The Tenners understand the incredible responsibility they bear in caring for kids and getting them started on their educational journey.

“We strive to always create a safe environment that feels like home,” says Tenner. “We treat everyone at Future Scholars, from the teachers and staff, down to the students like family members.”

It is no wonder that Future Scholars sees multiple generations from the same family return to take advantage of everything the center has to offer.

“Many families will bring their younger children here after their older children have had a great experience. That proves to us that they are happy with what we offer and nothing could be a better compliment.”
