Serving Up Excellence
Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe bakes from scratch and from the heart

by Staff

Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe is a full-service, old-fashioned mom-and-pop bakery with a European flair that offers cakes, cookies, cupcakes and everything in between. This one-of-a-kind bakery specializes in quality baked goods made from scratch. There is never a compromise or shortcut in the process or in the ingredients used. Winner of multiple awards and owner, Karen Morrison, and her team are passionate about their business and the products they sell.

Morrison has spent most of her life around a bakery and always wanted to own her own business. Nearly 18 years ago, she made that dream a reality when she opened Sweetsboro Pastry Shoppe.

“The opportunity arose and I sprang into action,” she says.

All employees are hands-on, bringing their time and talent to Sweetsboro, which helps with production to ensure as many customers as possible can be served and with quality products. The business is managed by Morrison’s stepbrother who is a third-generation baker.

“During the busy holiday seasons, we often enlist our families to help out. Our products are made in-house by hand; therefore, it takes many hands to run our business,” Morrison says.

The amazing artistic designs, especially of their specialty cakes, cannot be compared to any other bakery. From wedding cakes, themed party cakes to personalized cakes that fit any personality, the team at Sweetsboro will not only create an incredible design that meets their customers’ exact desires, but the quality and taste of whatever they make will keep customers coming back for years to come.

The proof is in the cake. Stop in and taste for yourself.
