Summer Camp Spotlight
Highlighting the region’s best summer camps for kids to bridge the gap between school years, develop new skills and have fun all summer long!

by Staff

Nitro1 Sports Camp
“Nitro1 Sports provides children the opportunity to try new sports through a supportive and positive learning environment. Coaches teach age-appropriate skills while building self-confidence through encouragement and empowerment. Children come out of the program with increased ability and confidence in the sports they have learned. Our small staff-to-player ratio also contributes to a positive and meaningful experience for our players and this year we are excited to offer extended camp hours from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m..”

Future Scholars Learning Center
“Summer camp to Future Scholars offers something for all kids with a senior camp for 6-to-13-year-olds and a junior camp for 3-to-5-year-olds. Summer camp is a wonderful opportunity for children to make new friends and enjoy in-house, hands-on activities as well as field trips.”

Apple Montessori School
“Summer at Apple Montessori Schools means fun and learning all summer long. With this year’s theme “Roadtrip: USA,” we’re taking campers on weekly adventures inspired by landmarks throughout the country. Offering up to eight weeks with flexible weekly minimums, campers 2.5 to 8 years old enjoy well-rounded camp programs including STEAM, Montessori lessons, cooking, art, sports, performance art and more! When campers head outdoors, they experience our beautiful outdoor classroom featuring natural wooden playsets and all sorts of activities from building to water play to messy materials. Last but not least, all full-time campers get daily swim lessons in our on-site pool. We’re looking forward to welcoming campers for a fun-filled Summer Camp 2024!”
