On the Menu: A Trio of breakfast handhelds to try this month.
By Grace Clevenger
Super Trooper
Victoria’s Bagel Bistro in Mount Laurel
The Super Trooper adds a bit of flavor to the average breakfast sandwich with its selection of Dietz & Watson jalapeño cheddar cheese melted on top of the other additions to the already-flavorful sandwich. The sandwich also comes with two fried eggs, is pressed between grilled turkey breast and sliced avocado, tomatoes and red onions and piled high on a bagel of your choosing.
Avocado Egg Sandwich
Healthy Garden & Gourmet Pizza in Moorestown
Served on your choice of whole wheat, rye or white bread or a multigrain pita or English muffin, the Avocado Egg Sandwich is a filling yet healthy breakfast choice. Prepared with eggs and sliced avocado, as the name suggests, the sandwich also comes with a heap of turkey bacon, mozzarella cheese and sliced tomatoes—giving the meal extra flavor while keeping it healthy.
The Honeymoon
K & A Bagel Café in Cherry Hill
Inspired from the flavors of Mexico and the owners’ honeymoon to the beautiful country, this sandwich is prepared with two fried eggs that are smothered in pepper jack cheese and salsa, which is then placed overtop a spicy chorizo and freshly sliced avocado. This assortment comes served on a homemade bagel of your choice.
