Talent: Pageant Competition
Washington Township High School freshman Sommermann is taking the pageant world by storm, and doing good for her community in the process. Sommermann was crowned Miss New Jersey Jr. Teen America for 2016, a title that has earned her a spot in the Miss Jr. Teen America pageant this summer.
Sommermann is a passionate dancer, performing on the Chez Dance Teen Dance Company and the Philadelphia Soul Junior Soulmates Dance Team. She also cheers for her high school and serves as manager of the baseball team. In her free time, Sommermann enjoys volunteering, putting her time in every year at various charities in her area and across the bridge in Philadelphia. She also serves as an ambassador for the Ashley Lauren Foundation for Pediatric Cancer.
Now Sommermann will take her talents to Atlanta this July to compete in the national competition with other girls ages 12-14 across America. The three-day pageant will determine the Miss Jr. Teen America representative for 2016.
