South Jersey’s top varsity athletes gear up for more heated competition.
The return of another school year means the return of our area’s elite young athletes, and what is expected to be another fall season of intense and exciting play. While most local students spent their summers relaxing at the Shore or working on a back-to-school tan, these competitors were hard at work, focused on the year ahead and the games that will push their skills to the limit in the approaching months.
Join us as we take a look at the fall varsity sports for 2015, including football, field hockey, girls and boys soccer, girls and boys cross country, girls tennis, girls volleyball and gymnastics. We take a look at the previous year’s talent from 17 schools—Bishop Eustace, Camden Catholic, Cherokee, Cherry Hill East, Cherry Hill West, Clearview, Eastern, Gloucester Catholic, Haddonfield, Kingsway, Lenape, Moorestown, Moorestown Friends, Paul VI, Seneca, Shawnee and Washington Township—to predict what lies ahead, and share what athletes you should watch out for at the next big game.
We also compiled the season’s sports schedules for all of the schools to give you a hands-on guide to the next few months. Keep these schedules on hand so you never miss a game or a minute of play; by the look of this season, every single moment matters.
