Bring magical creatures to life at the Faeries and Wizards Family Festival. Children are welcome to come to the Camden Children’s Garden in costume and can complete the look by making their own wizard hat or fairy wings and wand at the event. The fun doesn’t have to end when the time comes to leave the Garden. Children will be able to make their own fairy garden to keep the magic alive at home. Experience Italy in South Jersey at the 10th Annual Italian Heritage Festival of Gloucester County. This family-friendly event will bring a traditional Italian street fair much closer to home. With fall officially here, pumpkin season is finally back. Celebrate the turn of the season with amusement park rides, face painting and fall-themed
activities—hayrides, pumpkin carving and pumpkin painting to name a few—at the 22nd Annual Blackwood Pumpkin Festival. If the moon bounce and costume contest aren’t enough to grab the attention of your entire family, maybe the four stages of entertainment will do the trick. Floating along the Rancocas Creek is the perfect way to see the fall foliage at Smithville Park. Jump into a canoe or kayak at this year’s Fall Foliage Family Float Festival and take in the view.
