July 4: Red, White and Blue

July 9-10: Pig Out
Skip the sand for a weekend of bacon bites, dishes and more at the NJ Bacon Fest. Food trucks, restaurants and chefs will converge on the Tuckerton Seaport for a tasting event with all of the bacon you could ever want. There will also be over two dozen varieties of craft beer for pairing, cooking demos, mechanical pig rides, live music and so much more.

July 11-12
The kings of summer come to the Shore to help everyone get into the swing of the season. The Beach Boys will be at Music Pier for two nights, playing their classic surfer boy hits right on the Shore. It’s the perfect way to embrace the nostalgic sounds of summer, right on the sand.

July 23: Start Your Engines
Walk the boards and take in dozens of antique rides at the Jersey Cape Region Antique Automobile Club of America Antique Car Show. Guests can browse old and renovated vehicles with the hoods up, and get transported back in time to when these cars dominated the streets.

July 23: Birthday Bash
Join Margate’s historic Lucy the Elephant as she celebrates her 135th birthday I style. The entire beach town comes out to celebrate with tours of Lucy, food vendors, a birthday cake, tarot card readings and games.

August 6: Feeling Crabby
Get your fill of fresh shellfish straight from the source at the 5th Annual Craft Beer & Crab Festival. Along with a full spread of steamed crab, crab cakes and more shellfish, guests will also get to try a variety of craft beers from around the area and beyond. There will also be live performers, craft vendors, a farmers’ market and more, making it a full day of family fun.

August 14: Batter Up
Step up to the plate and swing away for a good cause. Now in its seventh year, the Sea Isle City Wiffle Classic is a full day of fun and competition benefitting Autism Speaks. Registered teams face off in a bracketed tournament, and there are also competitions for Best Team Name, Fun Stars and Best Uniforms, as well as snacks and prizes for visitors and fans.

August 17: Up in the Clouds
Look up or you’ll miss the riveting USAF Air Demonstration Squadron and their mind-blowing tricks. The Thunderbirds come to Atlantic City to perform their aerial demonstrations, using F-16C Fighting Falcons and F-16D fighters. New to the show this year is a demonstration by the US Army Golden Knights Parachute Team, a USMC mc-22 Osprey plane and a performance by the GEICO Skytypers.
