Lourdes Health System and the Mayor’s Wellness Campaign in Cherry Hill are hosting yoga in the park. July 9: Time Travel
Take a trip back in time with the Medford Historical Society as they visit the Civil War. There will be demonstrations on black powder rifles and how supplies were made, and a look at the lifestyle of the soldiers during the war. This journey will share aglimpse into the past that will fascinate everyone in the family.

It is up to the children of Voorhees to help build a home for insect couple Mr. and Mrs. Ribble. The Traveling Lantern Theater Company will be at the Voorhees library to play interactive games and teach kids about architecture, building and construction. The kids will help design a floor plan for the bugs with the help of a bird architect and an ant contractor.

July 13: Folk Fun
Bring your lawn chairs and get ready for some music as the Mount Laurel Library and Mount Laurel Township present the 2017 Summer Concert Series with The Jersey Boomers. “The World’s Greatest Elephant” turns 136 on July 22. That’s right, Margate’s famous historic landmark Lucy the Elephant is celebrating her birthday making it the perfect excuse to pack the kids up for a visit. Bring lunch and have a picnic on one of their tables and take a guided tour up the spiral steps through Lucy’s insides all the way up to the howdah where you will have a 360-degree view of the area.

Moorestown plans on taking you on a musical trip with their Summer Concert Series. Bring a blanket and get ready as the Perkins Flute Ensemble brings the music of Disney to life. Aug. 7: Namaste on the Beach
